This track is exciting for us because we've wanted to work with Ric Denton (formerly of Raleigh's Morning Bells) for a long time. As it came together, it felt more and more like an homage to Depeche Mode. The two vocal parts naturally evolved with that kind of back-and-forth in mind.

The lyrics are about those people in your life -- you know who they are -- who seem connected to something beyond the five senses. They know when something's about to happen. They can sense when it's about to rain. They're alive and connected in a way that most people aren't.
